Cozy dinners this weekend at Château du Puits es Pratx
Lily
baked her delicious bread and created a luscious ginger sticky toffee
pudding, just right for a chilli evening. I cured fresh herrings in
lemon and white wine followed by a foies gras terrine served with a pear
compote. Popular was a thai infusion with prawns, octopus and scallops.
I served rack of lamb with a crispy granola crumble or sea bream with a
mussel and clam beurre blanc. All seemed to go down well. We are
looking forward to our first cooking course weekend on the 6th of
December with our Chinese chef Jo Lee, contact us for more info and next
weekend’s menu.

October Concert at Chateau du Puits es Pratx
This October the Chateau welcomed Jessica Fichot and her unique blend of French Chanson, Chinese 40's swing, Gypsy jazz & international folk.
Drawing from her French/Chinese/American heritage and her youth in Paris, Los Angeles based singer songwriter Jessica Fichot performed original French songs, Chinese 40's swing, Gypsy jazz and international Folk.
Following the release of two acclaimed albums: "Le Chemin" and 'Le Secret", she has toured throughout the US, China, Mexico, Canada and Western Europe. Backed by her fiery band (clarinet, guitar and upright bass), and armed with her accordion, toy piano and beautiful multilingual vocals, she will be on tour again following the release of her new EP "Dear Shanghai" - a tribute to jazz from 1940's Shanghai.
